This is what $1750 Canadian Dollars gets you in the Okanagan.
Yes, that’s a butt ton of cat hair on the seat.

So much blue! Looking good

Very nice! I’m jealous.

Even with the cat hair?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 18:35 |

That's a seriously cool truck!

For reference to people not in the land of maple-scented money, $1700 Canadian equals roughly $1078 USD, or about £800 British pounds sterling.

4.3 V6 ? 5.0 V8 ? 5.7 V8?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 18:43 |

5.0 with a bunch of mods.

That is a smoking deal and the only way it could be better is with my name on the title.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 18:44 |

haha.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 18:48 |

Ooooo I like.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 19:10 |

Does it smell? lol
It looks like my truck in several ways, but in better shape overall.

Approved

It looks clean... no rust?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 20:04 |

Wow! That is surprisingly clean. Nice find.

Thanks!

Five tiny bubbles around the wheel well, a little surface corrosion on the rear bumper, and a little surface rust in the craters that stone chips have blasted into the paint. That’s it.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 20:46 |

I don’t know how, but it doesn’t smell at all. It smells like a used car from a dealer, to be honest.

Yay! Zoidberg approved!

That’s good to hear. Vacumming up the hair shouldn’t be too troublesome.
I’ll be posting another installment about my truck tomorrow. You’ll see why I’m jealous haha.

I’m getting a shop vac tomorrow to get all the hair out. What’s to be fixed this time?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 21:32 |
|
Oh, I’ve got a list. Right now I’m in the middle of a bed swap. But tomorrow’s post will mainly be focusing on the fact that I actually took time to detail the interior, even though the exterior is all beat up and rough.

Hey, it’s better to feel good than look good. Mine has all kinds of scratches and pockmarks, but it doesn’t look half-bad.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 21:38 |

sweet.
You plan on restoring it, or is it a work truck?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 21:52 |
|
It’s in-between. I plan on just keeping it on the road, and driving it.

Nice buy! With that dash it’s either a ‘95 or ‘96, so which is it?
![]() 02/06/2016 at 23:10 |
|
1995!
![]() 02/06/2016 at 23:15 |
|
Nice! My dad had a ‘95, so I know that dash well. In ‘97 they added a passenger side airbag.
![]() 02/06/2016 at 23:17 |

Yup!
![]() 02/07/2016 at 02:27 |

no rust by the look of it.

What I love about the Okanagan valley is ALL the cars are rust free. I want to move there just for that reason.
Kelowna is pretty much my dream destination. Do you guys rent or own your house there?

We’re renting for now. If you ever decide to make the trip out, just let me know. I’ll let you take her for a spin.
